5 Oaks at Westchase

Awful living. And my friend did a review and I could not agree more. “If you are looking for an apartment in Tampa, stay far away from this complex!! I can’t stress this enough!! I have multiple friends that I have come to know in Tampa that live here and have had multiple issues with property management. They don’t take any valid concerns seriously. The breezeways are absolutely disgusting. There’s dog feces everywhere, people smoke marijuana, and cigarettes, and it funnels through the system, and can be smelled in all of the apartments. Also more recently, my one friend has made several complaints about new residents that have extremely loud intercourse multiple (more then 3x a day) waking her in the middle of the night with banging and loud screams and moans, making it very uncomfortable. When she complained, they did nothing. She then attempted to knock on the neighbors door to respectfully ask them to be a bit more quiet as it was late and she continued to be awoken each night by loud banging and screaming. Upon knocking, the tenants verbally threatened violence and obscenities and would not even come to the door. The next day the management company put a note on my friends door for disrupting the other tenants and threatened to cancel her lease!! They NEVER reached out to see what was going on despite the fact, she had already complained about this tenant to them. My friend has continued to have to listen to them night and day AND at times with her 10 year old niece and father present. She has put in multiple complaints and today she got a notice for being too loud with her garbage disposal!! They are clearly now harassing her and must somehow have a connection and favorability toward the other tenant as they have done nothing to remedy their continuous actions. Thankfully, My friend was smart enough to video everything that has transpired and is now seeking legal action. I am absolutely astonished especially with the amount of money they pay to live there! I would NEVER EVER Stay tuned for real terrible interactions with management who is never in the office, you can call 37 times and no one answers, you can submit request to get an email back and nobody responds, photos and videos coming soon. This is seriously the worst apartment living in my 43 years of life and I have owned houses and apartments and townhouses…. This place is disgusting. It’s like mom and dad are gone always, so do whatever you want type of environment.

Couldn’t agree more with the last two reviews made by K Drake & Theresa. Seems as property management doesn’t take any concerns or complaints seriously. I’ve had my share of issues and currently been having a big issue with noisy upstairs neighbors I’ve been going at it with the leasing agents for about a month now. Very disappointed can’t wait to leave!!!!! Seems like a lot of miserable people have been moving in messing it up for many of us. I too have smelled marijuana and someone loves to smoke and get right into the elevator hotboxing it which is embarrassing especially if you have guests coming !!

Words cannot express how much I love it here! I met a few of the staff and they always treat to you like family! Big thanks to: Angeline Veronica Jordan Kevin Marcos The location is beautiful! The staff is very knowledgeable on surrounding attractions and daily events! The rents affordable and the maintenance team is QUICK.The clubhouse is always kept clean and very inviting.

I’ve called 5 Oaks home for quite some time now and continually see the improvements made with staffing, property maintenance, and quality of life/tenant outreach events. Yes, they might take slightly longer than desired to get back to you about issues, but they always make it a point to follow up- especially Victoria and Jordan in the leasing office and other staff. Great place to call home that doesn’t feel like apartment living- all close to everything local. No complaints !
